Legal Matters
At MG Villas we will provide a full conveyance service to further support the buying process. If you prefer, you can contract to the services of a solicitor who can also provide peace of mind during the purchase procedure. There are many professionals companies to choose from.
MG Villas will check the legal status of the property you wish to purchase. We will carry out a full search into the ownership of the property, any outstanding debts, and a comparison of the physical reality of the property against its description as listed in the title deeds at the Land Registry. This conveyance service is part of our commitment to making the purchase of your new home as smooth as possible.
Fiscal Representation
A Fiscal representative is someone who handles all matters relating to your taxes in Spain. This is especially important if you do not live here permanently.
Gestor
Gestors can be a person or a company that provides legal representation across a wide range of needs, from personal matters like taxation, work related matters, house and car issues and many more.
Last Will & Testament
We recommend to anyone that buys a property here in Spain that they take out a Spanish will. This is a simple procedure and normally the will is a simple document, especially where properties are owned on a 50/50 basis. If you prefer, your individual requirements can be incorporated into the document.
Open or closed wills (secret wills) are possible and are signed in front of a Notary. Once complete, the document is then registered in the Central Will Registry of Madrid (Registro Central de Última Voluntad).
